The form of the work emerges from the dialogue between matter and void. The light that passes through its interior reveals the invisible.
Its biomorphic appearance seems to arise from an intermediate territory between the vegetal, the animal and the human. At the same time, its surfaces evoke the erosion of rock, placing the work at a point of encounter between the organic and the inorganic.
The sculpture can be displayed with or without a base. A custom base is available upon request.
The work is made of chamotte black stoneware (grog 0–1 mm), hand-built and subsequently hollowed to allow for firing. The presence of grog provides texture and structural stability, reinforcing the material character of the sculpture.
